SPONSOR: The sponsor of the SpringHill Suites Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is William-Sonoma Inc., on behalf of its brand, West Elm ("Sponsor"), 3250 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94109. Marriott International, Inc., 10400 Fernwood Rd, Bethesda, MD, 20817 is a prize provider of the Sweepstakes.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 am Eastern Time ("ET") on July 1, 2016 and ends at 11:59:59 pm ET on July 31, 2016 ("End Date").
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 50 United States of America or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of their time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its prize providers and licensors, including Marriott International, Inc., and each of the foregoing entities' affiliates, authorized designees and other related entities, and any other individual or entity associated with the development, judging or administration of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), as well as members of such employees' immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents), and persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.
HOW TO ENTER: There is one way to enter the Sweepstakes: visit: westelm.com/suitestyle and follow the instructions to complete the online entry form. Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address. Entries must be received before the End Date. Sponsor is the official time keeper for the Sweepstakes. All entry information and materials become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Except as otherwise contemplated in these Official Rules, and to the extent entrants may otherwise elect at the time of entry, personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with the online privacy policy available at www.westelm.com.
PRIZES: One (a) Grand Prize is available to be won, consisting of one (1) $1,000 West Elm Gift Card, and a four (4) day/three (3) night trip for the winner and one (1) travel companion to any SpringHill Suites. Trip includes round-trip coach class air transportation for two (2) between the airport nearest the winner's home city and destination city, and a three-night stay at any SpringHill Suites (double occupancy, valued up to $250 per night), and ground transportation to/from the airport/hotel in destination city. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $4,850. Gift card subject to standard gift card terms and conditions; see gift card for details. Prize will be delivered only to an address in the United States. Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion if advertised prize (or portion of prize) becomes unavailable. Winner is responsible for any loss of prize or portion of prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize. Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. THE WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING AND PAYING ANY AND ALL INCOME, SALES OR EXCISE TAXES THAT MAY APPLY TO ACCEPTING PRIZE; SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AND WILL NOT PAY ANY SUCH TAXES. Grand Prize winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the actual retail value of prize. Travel must take place within two (2) years of winner confirmation or prize will be forfeited. The winner's choice of destination must be mutually agreed upon with Sponsor and Marriott International, Inc. All fees and expenses (such as security fees, gratuities, luggage fees, meals and ground transportation, and incidental charges) related to acceptance and uses of the travel prize not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. In the event a winner lives within one-hundred fifty (150) miles of their destination city, round-trip ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation will be provided. Certain restrictions and blackout dates apply. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Winner and his/her travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary. Seat selection and timing of trip subject to confirmation of reservations. Major credit card required at check-in to cover any incidental charges. Travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older or the winner's child/charge at time of travel. If the winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, his/her travel companion must be his/her parent or legal guardian. Winner's travel companion (or winner as parent/legal guardian of travel companion if he/she is a minor in his/her state of primary residence and winner's child/charge) will be required to execute a release of liability prior to travel. Prize winner and his/her travel companion must possess valid travel documents (i.e., a valid government-issued photo ID, etc.) and travel on the same itinerary. Prize winner and his/her travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledge that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes, and those set forth by Sponsor's airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. Lost, stolen or damaged airline tickets will not be replaced or exchanged. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any air carrier(s) or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies shall constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Prize winner's and his/her travel companion's transportation and such contracts shall be solely between the Prize winner, his/her travel companion and such transportation companies.
In the event the winner and/or his/her travel companion engage(s) in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to threaten or harass any other person, or that in any way disparages or adversely affects the reputation, image, and/or customer goodwill of Sponsor or any of Sponsor's services, products, trademarks, service marks, or logos, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the travel early, and send that winner and/or his/her travel companion home with no further obligations or compensation whatsoever to the winner and/or his/her travel companion (which may, in Sponsor's sole discretion, result in that winner's disqualification from the Sweepstakes and forfeiture of any (and/or all) portion(s) of the prize. In the event the winner or his/her travel companion engage(s) in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects that winner or his/her travel companion to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by the winner or his/her travel companion as a result of such conduct. SPONSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR EXPENSES RESULTING FROM OR ARISING OUT OF ANY TRAVEL RELATED TO THE PRIZE OR ANY OTHER ASPECT OF THE PRIZE WINNER'S OR HIS/HER TRAVEL COMPANION'S ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF THE PRIZE.

WINNER SELECTION: The winner will be determined by random selection conducted by Sponsor from among all eligible entries on or around August 1, 2016. All results of the selection are final and binding, subject to these Official Rules. In the event a winning entry is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or the person who submitted the winning entry fails to comply with these Official Rules prior to delivery of the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. No more than the advertised 1 prize will be awarded.
NOTICE TO WINNER: Attempts to notify potential winner will be made using the e-mail address or telephone number provided at entry. Sponsor is not responsible for e-mail, telephone or other communication problems of any kind. If, despite reasonable efforts, potential winner does not respond within fifteen (15) days of the first notification attempt (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
VERIFICATION OF WINNERS: Potential winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, "Prize Claim Documents"). If a potential winner is less than the age of majority in his or her jurisdiction of primary residence, a "minor," at Sponsor's option, the applicable prize either will be awarded in the name of the parent or legal guardian of winner, or the parent or legal guardian of winner will be required to ratify and sign the Prize Claim Documents. If potential winner (or such winner's parent or legal guardian) fails or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within fifteen (15) days of prize notification (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ENTRIES THAT ARE ENTERED BY OTHER THAN HUMAN MEANS (SUCH AS BY AN AUTOMATED COMPUTER PROGRAM OR ANY NON-HUMAN MECHANISM, ENTITY, OR DEVICE), IN EXCESS OF THE STATED LIMIT, OR FOR ENTRIES THAT ARE LATE, FORGED, DESTROYED, LOST, MISPLACED, STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, TAMPERED WITH, INCOMPLETE, DELETED, DAMAGED, GARBLED, OR OTHERWISE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THESE OFFICIAL RULES, AND ALL SUCH ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. WINNER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES HAVE NEITHER MADE NOR ARE IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO PRIZE OR COMPONENT THEREOF, INCLUDING ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES PROVIDED BY ANY OF THE PRIZE PROVIDER ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's permission for Sponsor and Marriott International, Inc. to use winner's name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising or publicity purposes, worldwide, and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel/modify the Sweepstakes or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined solely by Sponsor. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted and a random drawing for the Grand Prize will be conducted from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Sweepstakes, and ban from any future promotions, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or to have tampered with any element of the Sweepstakes without notice to the disqualified or banned person.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Any legal claims arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules must be brought in the federal or state courts located in Los Angeles, California.
