As part of her debut west elm collection, London-based fashion and textile designer Allegra Hicks based the embroidered pattern of this white cotton pillow cover on her watercolor studies of palmetto leaves from her native Italy, with the blue and neutral colorways reflecting the early-autumn hues in the southern part of the country. The spiky, fan-like interpretation is soothing in its muted tones and surprising in its crispness.
