Our frequent collaborator David Stark is a celebrated party planner who works just a stone’s throw from us in Brooklyn, where he orchestrates glamorous galas for charities, corporations and celebrities—New York’s Museum of Modern Art and the Independent Film Channel among them. We’ve always admired David’s talent for taking humble materials like cardboard and paper and repurposing them as witty and wonderful objects, so that’s exactly what we’ve asked him to do for us. In the past, he’s created collections of ingenious holiday décor, including garlands, flowers and modern trees made from the pages of a vintage garden book printed on recycled paper.
SEE BEAUTY IN THE EVERYDAY For our latest collaboration with David, the Brooklyn-based event designer extraordinaire tells us he “was inspired by my roots as a painter.” Motivated by the Mediterranean light, the blue of the sea and artist’s materials like raw canvas and gesso, David created beautiful, functional objects inspired by familiar everyday forms – rope bowls and bottles wrapped in white artist canvas as well as porcelain tapas dishes modeled on sardine cans, soup cans that hold everything from flowers to cutlery and dinnerware splashed with exuberant hues of beautiful blue.

Return Policy
We take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days of receiving the order for a full refund of the merchandise cost. After 30 days, we will replace or refund your purchase against manufacturer's defects ONLY. Please note that we cannot accept returns on final-sale merchandise, monogrammed/personalized items or on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
