As part of a collaboration with Aid to Artisans (west elm is the nonprofit’s largest retail partner), we worked with artisans in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to create witty riffs on horned animals. Made entirely from recycled materials, this all-white Papier-Mâché Stag brings a wild side to walls in the most responsible way.

    OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH AID TO ARTISANS


    The creation of this papier-mâché wall trophy was born out of our collaboration with the non-profit organization Aid to Artisans (ATA), which since 1976 has generated opportunities for marginalized or at-risk crafting communities around the world by linking them with new markets and buyers. As ATA’s largest retail partner, we learned about its post-earthquake initiatives in Haiti and then worked with the group and the master papier-mâché craftspeople there to develop this piece, which is modeled on hunting trophies found in classic African safari lodges.

    Return Policy
    We take great pride in the quality of our merchandise. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days of receiving the order for a full refund of the merchandise cost. After 30 days, we will replace or refund your purchase against manufacturer's defects ONLY. Please note that we cannot accept returns on final-sale merchandise, monogrammed/personalized items or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We regret that we do not give price adjustments on previously purchased items.
