Bed Sheet Sizes Buying Guide

Linen sheets and pillows on a bed

When buying bed sheets, there are some basics to keep in mind. From Twin mattresses to a California King, your bed sheets are the foundation of a restful night or cozy afternoon nap. We’ll go over what to know when it comes to bed sheet sizes, as well as the basics of our fabric offerings.

Bed sheet sizes chart

Twin/Twin XL Sheets

A Twin bed is standard for kids’ rooms, daybeds and college dorms. A Twin bed is the perfect size for a small space, ideal for bunk beds or trundles. Twin XL mattresses are a bit longer than the traditional Twin, and their sheets are longer to accommodate. Twin XL beds are ideal in college dorm rooms and for anyone over six feet tall.

Dimensions

Our standard Twin sheet dimensions measure 96"–105"l x 66"–74"w for the flat sheet, and 75"l x 39"w x 16"d for the fitted sheet. These variations make it easy to fit any twin mattress depth.

Full Sheets

A Full mattress is a size up from the Twin, and is often known as a “double” bed. This bed size is perfect for a teenager, guest room or small apartment.

Dimensions

Our Full bed fitted sheets measure 96"–105"l x 81"–90"w, and the matching fitted sheets measure 75" x 54"w x 16"d. If you prefer a top sheet with a bit more coverage, opt for a bed sheet set with slightly bigger dimensions.

Queen Sheets

Queen beds are common these days. These are an ideal choice whether you sleep alone or share a bed with a partner (or pet!). This bed size is a notch larger than a Full bed, making it great for a larger room or if you like to spread out.

Dimensions

When it comes to our Queen bed sheet dimensions, the flat sheets range from 102"–105"l x 90"–96"w; the fitted sheets are 80"l x 60"w x 16"d.

King Sheets

Ideal for couples, King beds are about the size of two Twin beds pushed together. King beds are typically seen in primary bedrooms.

Dimensions

King sheet dimensions measure 105"–108"l x 102"–108"w for the flat top sheet, and 80"l x 78"w x 16"d for the fitted bottom sheet.

California King Sheets

Finally, a California King is the largest mattress option we offer. A few inches narrower than a King but longer, this bed is ideal if you’re tall and need the extra foot room.

Dimensions

California King sheets are pretty similar to King sheets, but with a few key differences. Our flat sheets measure 105"l x 108"w and the fitted sheets measure 84"l x 72"w x 16"d.
