Design To Impact
At west elm, we're committed to making OUR VALUES come alive in the work that we do and the products we create. We call it "RESPONSIBLE RETAIL," and although it can be challenging to turn purpose into practice, we've learned firsthand the POSITIVE IMPACT it has on everyone in our community circle: those of us who work at west elm; you, our customers; and our global partners who create for west elm.
We care about how our products are made and have committed to ambitious goals in five key areas—HANDCRAFTED, FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED™, ORGANIC, SUSTAINABLY SOURCED and LOCAL. We're introducing NEW ICONS to clearly identify these initiatives and tell the stories of our partners on this journey. We'll continue to keep you informed about how we're using design to drive meaningful change.
