What is contract quality?

Contract quality is the term generally used to describe the type of furniture + textiles needed for use in public spaces including hospitality venues and workspaces. Contract furniture + textiles are designed to withstand greater impacts, wear, abrasion and staining. Each of our contract products meets or exceeds all BIFMA safety and high-performance standards.

What is the difference between contract and residential product?

When determining whether a piece is suitable for contract use, the structure, foams and finishes all need to be assessed.

What is the difference between Contract To Go and Contract Custom?

Contract To Go pertains to our ready-to-buy contract assortment. This line of product is in stock to ship immediately or with a lead time of less than 10 weeks. No minimums are required for Contract To Go orders.

Through our Contract Custom offering, we tailor our product sourcing + design capabilities to your brand standards. This program applies to high-volume orders with lead times of at least 6 months. Minimums required.

How does west elm's HOSPITALITY program differ from the TO THE TRADE program?

Our TO THE TRADE program assists designers, specifiers and developers in buying our residential collections with ease. Our HOSPITALITY program has been developed for environments that require a more comprehensive level of testing.

Registered TO THE TRADE members may apply their trade discount on Contract To Go orders.

What does your product testing cover?

Our HOSPITALITY collection has been tested in accordance with the third-party standards of BIFMA, the Business + Institutional Furniture Manufacturing Association.

How do I place an order or request a quote?

For orders of less than $10,000, you may place a Contract To Go order directly through our website. To request a quote or place an order for a large-volume, Contract Custom project, please email wehospitality@wsgc.com or call 1.844.859.6860

Is there a minimum order quantity?

For Contract To Go orders, no minimum quantity is necessary.

A minimum quantity is required for Contract Custom orders. Because these pieces are produced when ordered, production minimums do apply. Most minimums range from 30-100 units depending on the item. Please email wehospitality@wsgc.com or call 1.844.859.6860 for details.

What is the lead time?

Contract To Go orders ship right away or with a lead time of less than 10 weeks. Lead times for Contract Custom orders are specified by project.

What are my shipping options? Is White Glove Delivery available?

What is your fabric offering?

We've partnered with DESIGNTEX to curate a collection of commercially rated fabrics for this collection, and we can also specific fabrics from other approved vendors on request. We cannot facilitate "Customer Own Material" for upholstery orders due to compliance restrictions.
