The chairs can collapse during normal use, posing a fall hazard to consumers.
The chairs were sold at West Elm stores nationwide, by catalog, and online from September 2011 through January 2012. They were sold in white, red or chocolate, individually and in sets of two and four, for about $20 to $40 per chair.

A short circuit can occur in the lamp's wiring, posing a shock hazard to consumers.
