Returns
- For inquiries around returns, exchanges and warranties, customers may contact Steelcase via email at retailmty@steelcase.com. For all other inquiries, please call our customer service department at 1.888.922.4119 or send an email to customerservice@westelm.com.
- West Elm will not be accepting in-store returns or exchanges for any items from the Steelcase collection. Customers looking to make in-store returns or exchanges for any items in this collection will be directed to contact Steelcase’s customer experience team.
- Orders may not be canceled once received and processed by Steelcase.
- Steelcase chairs: Free returns within 30 days of receipt, in original packaging and in new condition.
- All other Steelcase products: Returnable within 30 days of receipt, but subject to a 20% restocking fee and return shipping charges.
- For all items returned, Steelcase team will send the customer a FedEx label via email or regular mail. When customers receive the label, they must make sure the product is packed up in the original packaging, put the label on the box, and call FedEx to schedule the pickup.
Warranty & Damages
- The Steelcase Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from a Steelcase Authorized Reseller by purchasers located in the United States.
- If a product is defective in materials or workmanship, Steelcase will repair or, at Steelcase’s option, replace the affected product at no charge, or refund the purchase price for the affected product if repair or replacement is not commercially practicable or cannot be timely made.
